If you had to pick just one which would you pick and why? I got my bottle of GPH not even a month ago and I love love loved it...for like 3 or 4 days. Now I just don't find myself reaching for it often enough. Nothing against it really. I have found that the longevity is very hit or miss for me. One day it'll last hours & hours and the next day I use it, its gone before I know it. Most of all I think my lack of use of GPH just stems from all the bottles I've been picking up. Just recently I've got Body Kuoros, DHI, Narciso Rodriguez Musc Collection and now Tom of Finland. GPH I guess GPH just isn't going enough to peak my interest right now. I've also been picking up a lot of samples from Luckyscent. One I've really enjoyed is CDG 2 Man. I’m not professional enough to name off all the notes but there’s lots of incense, wood, spice and vetiver. They have their differences for sure but I can definitely see why it’s often compared to GPH. Kind of considering trading in my full bottle of GPH and putting it towards a bottle of this CDG 2Man. Opinions please...

I have both, and I'm currently wearing Gucci Pour Homme I. However, I prefer Comme des Garcon 2 Man. They are very similar; I find Gucci more linear. Smells like cedar and not much else. Comme des Garson is more interesting and complex.

I don't really care for either one, but the CDG wins hands down here without any contest.

I'm wearing GPH today. Ive never been a big fan of the opening. Overly sweet and smells like synthetic root-beer with cedar. But the dry down is a nice sweet(there has to be some amber in the base) spicy cedar smell that lasts all day. An excellent colder weather scent.

I've never tried CDG...I think you should just buy both. :biggrin1:

Im still trying to decide on this one. I do agree that GPH is very linear, synthetic and smells almost of straight cedar (or whatever it is that smells like cedar cause according to the pros cedar is not even present in GPH). Buts its still smells soooo good! I don't know if I can dismiss it due to these faults. And it doesn't help that I've been retrying the CDG sample and now I cant seem to detect anything in it other than incense. We shall see though. Might try to just pick up a small decant of CDG so I can get the full effect of it and then go from there.
