I was able to find a NOS gray box 55 in best. Very excited to use it, it is also the only one I have that says made in England. I’ve wanted a Tulip for a while so I got one as well. It looks even better in person. It has almost a cream color to it.

Two nice ones, congrats! The variation of the ivory shades in their rod stock is always interesting. I've got a newer Duke 1 that's similar to your creamy T4, and a Keyhole that's in between. Mostly pretty much white looking with my Simpson collection.
The old Somerset era handles with the lampblack were pinkish, I've got one still, a Persian Jar 3. Hard to photograph, you did a great job on your pic!

I’d love to see the pinkish variation. I don’t know what they were thinking with the new labeling. Simpson brushes carry a bit of prestige, especially with Kent no longer making badger hair and Thater going out of businesses. Those new handles give off a cheap feeling
