I wish that swirly-ness was all over and not just on the bottom! Kind of like looking at end grain in a piece of wood.

I really like those black and butterscoth ones. I have a similar ever ready that I'm going to knot with a 22mm finest fan or super fan in the near future whne I next place my order.

I just don't know. Is there a sticky around that can advise on how to tell badger from boar from horse from synthetic from goat?

I can tell boar from a mile away!

It's just the look, the thickness of the bristle. I'm certain goat hair would be too floppy for a brush though, so I guess we don't have to worry there.
