Got the wife DE shaving

I got my wife to try the Super Speed and I would make the soap for her. She had done several 1 pass shaves and liked it. Last night she decided to try 2 pass shave(ATG, ATG). She said she had never had such smooth legs ever.

Nice job! I have tried to get her to try it. She says everything from "it takes too long" to "I don't want to cut myself with that thing". One day I think she might but for now, she uses the disposable junk from Walmart.
(I even got her a 65 Gillette Lady blue starburst)

My wife said it took less time. She said she always with a disposable she had to make a bunch of passes. She still uses a disposable around the ankles and underarms until she feels confident in using the Super Speed.

I just started in October and she saw what a difference in made in my shaving. I asked her what made her try 2 passes and she said she thought that if more passes made a difference on my face that it would not hurt to try. She was worried about getting cut. I want to get her a Lady Gillette or Black Beauty one day for her.

My wife unfortunately perfers the carts as she has very fine hair and skin doesn't need the ridged de. Which to my scrubby face makes sense as I can't use the carts due to the blades flexing.

I got my wife to switch when I made her buy her own Schick Intuition refills. Now it's a Lady Gillette and my Personna Red IPs.

I recommend a feminine smelling shave stick from Mama Bear's to enhance her enjoyment of DE shaving.

Nice! I'm working on my wife. She thinks the heads are too big on my Slim, so I picked up a minty pink Lady Injector. Hopefully this will be a great razor for her, as it has a mild reputation and much smaller head.

Just need to pick a brush now.

Sweet! My fiancé has been using a gillette guard with kmf lavender. Today she asked if she could use one of my DEs! I was thinking of starting her out on my blue tip or wilkinson sword. Both very mild.

It is difficult to find fault with smooth legs.

I always thought storage/portability would be an issue for leg shavers.

I'm actually trying to get my wife into DE shaving as well, she doesn't know that yet though. Her Parker 29L just came in today, actually. So, of course, I had to test it out for her. I think I really like that razor, it was supposedly based on the Lady Gillette.

She hasn't stated whether she is or isn't willing to try, but she does seem a bit intrigued by the fact that I actually enjoy shaving as opposed to when we first met and I complained about it daily.

I think she'll be receptive to it, and so far her Parker seems like a very good razor. I may try it a few more times before surprising her with it.
