Got my new brush!

Weee! Got my new Kent Bk8 from Feelunique today, ordered it on friday, and considering yesterday was a public holiday that was quick! Sorry in advance for the quality of the photo's my camera is currently out of commission so i had to use my phone.




Here is my current set of brushes:


From R - L: Executive Shaving Super badger, Bluebeards Revenge Pure Badger, kent Bk8 and Boar brush from Scottish Fine Soaps.

My only concern at the moment is that i have only handled the Bk8 twice and basically run my hand over the hairs, not squeezed or pulled and three hairs have come loose and shed already. I will have to keep a close eye on it and if i lose any more will have to contact feelunique or kent directly.

I ordered from the same brush from the same place last week. I wish the boat would hurry up and get here already! We need some more lather porn on these boards so let up know how it goes.

Most brushes will lose a few hairs when you first get them. Just get worried if it adds up to double digits. Enjoy!!!

Nice brush!! Fwiw, mine shed a few right away, then about 1-2 for each of the first 4 or so lathers. It has since stopped, so I'm sure you'll be fine.

So here is the post shave bloom shot, using the brush felt like swathing my face in a piece of soft heaven! Used DR Harris Arlington soap for the first time too, dont think i got the lather right, but again it was my first time using the brush and using a soap aswell.



Brush lost 4 hairs that i could see during the shave also but as everyone said above theirs lost some hairs on the first few shaves so again i will pay close attention moving ahead. Now that I have acquired a good high end brush, i almost feel like i should get it a partner so im not using the same brush everyday but i think that will lead me down a dark dark BAD hole so i will hold off for now!

Kent's are a really nice brush, any of them. The more you use them the better they get.
