So this is about my tenth or so shave with my DE, I paid attention to my growth patterns, took my time and used even less pressure on razor while still maintaining good contact. Definitely used a beard reduction technique with four passes and little touch up. BBS, no razor burn or exfoliating!
Mystic Water coconut lime verbina soap followed by Dominica Lime Bay Rum.
The pressure thing is one area I've worked on, what I call no pressure doesn't work well for me, but rather a very gentle pressure seems to be my ticket to success.
I seem to be a face lather groupie, tried bowl lathering, and when I got one of those photo quality lathers with my brush standing in the middle, it actually went on my face kind of thin looking. I think I am (happily) stuck on face lathering!
I am not new to wet shaving, however I never got a BBS like this with a cartridge and the goo!
