You still got that souped up hotrod model with the custom handle?
Used it today with the Feather SE blade in the GEM stem.

Two excellent shaves - both with a Palmolive stick, face lathered by a Rooney Style 1 Medium in best badger.
A very close shave with no real problems, save for a couple of razorberries on the right of my chin, but that's an ongoing issue, not the razor. I really like the finely tapered collar on the handle, that lets me hold the razor in a tight pinch between finger and thumb. I'm rather more used to the longer handle of my British ER1912, so have a little difficulty maintaining the correct angle, tho this improved on the second shave.

I love my Damaskeene, but they are hard to come by. If you want the same exact experience look for a Gem minuteman razor, they have the identical head although the handles are usually shorter. They are more abundant and basically indistinguishable from the damaskeene.
