Got a rock off the bay

No clue what it is. Description said coticule, but yeah... I’m guessing no . 2-1/4" x 5" x 5/8". Harder and the surface feels finer than the coti I have. I’ll enjoy playing around with seeing what kind of edge I can get with it.

I looked at that if I'm not mistaking it for another. I thought Jnat. The sawmarks on the ends made me think so. You should add some pics of those.

1stone has some coticules that kinda look like that. Saw marks do look like a jnat though, except the stripey look is odd for a jnat.

The slurry also looks JNat-ish, to my eye.

Only two with that slurry I know are JNAT or PDSO. Not sure what else would fit.

Looks like a Jnat to me. Like ekretz said those saw marks scream Jnat. Kawa and color just lock it into the Jnat section.

My guess is Jnat, the streaks are more common in certain mines, Ozaki, Ohira…
