Google Privacy Changes

Have any of you figured out the Google privacy changes? Do you plan to make any changes on your Google settings or the way you use Google? The changes don't make me comfortable but I'm not sure theres much to be done about it.

Some days I feel like going Luddite and get rid of all the screens and keyboards in my life.

It really doesn't bother me. They can "target" me all they via ads but at the end it all comes down to where I chose to spend my disposable dollars. So far it's gasoline & stuff here for shaving but little else. So meh.

I am curious how this would affect someone like me who only uses Google to make searches.

There's nothing you can do about it anyway, so I guess we've just got to go along with it.

I haven't look into it too closely, but from what I understand they are just blanketing all their products with the same policy, instead of having a different one for each product. I could be wrong though...it's happened before.
