Lol lets hope it works as well (though I still want that bethlehem back grr). I've not tried it yet. Actually got a 4/8 revisor too but that doesn't feel very sharp to me :-/
Its not good to feel the edge. A working mans finger pad will wipe the edge clean off a razor. But since its done... a coticule edge will feel dull as a butter knife but whiskers will wipe away. Nice razor!
Sorry I didn't mean I actually ran my fingers down the edge. I tried the HHT (though I know that is not always conclusive) and cutting a few hairs on my arm, which were largely left ignored by the razor. I stropped it a while and it came back a bit so I gave it a go this morning, but I don't think it is anywhere near sharp enough (as my cheek will testify - ouch! - had to switch to the 5/8 one). Debating whether to send it to someone to get re-honed or whether to try alternatives such as newspaper stropping or something (the only guy I know of, who hones commercially in the UK charges £25 and I can't afford that this month sadly).
I do. I can also confirm its also the German word for warrantie (it's my first language). I was just curious if it was some generic brand or something seeing as there is no manufacturer on the blade
