Good Watch for about $250?

Hi guys! It's been a while since I've posted, but I figured that this would be the right group of people to ask for information about watches.

If you were going to spend about $250 or so for a nice watch, what would you recommend? My current watch is a Seiko automatric diver with the "Pepsi" colored bezel. The bracelet needs to be repaired, so I may just go ahead and buy a new watch. I'm more interested in reliability, durability and comfort than I am in fashion appearance.

Also, are there any on-line dealers you recommend?

Many thanks!

If Your a big guy, I gotta watch for you:) NOS, box and papers.

You might want to check out Luminox; they make the Navy Seal watches among others. They are very robust but not a dressy or over-busy watch. I've had one for several years and it has held up much better than my Movado. Lots of watches say they glow in the dark, they are pale in comparison to the Luminox! I'll post mine on the "Watch Yer Wearing" thread one of these days...

Citizen Eco Drive. Keeps perfect time, durable, looks nice and solar/light powered so it never will need a battery. I've had mine (Nighthawk) for a couple of years. :thumbup1:
