Since starting wet shaving my wife hasn't been too....ummm...understanding. She doesn't see the point because it takes longer than traditional shaving. Anyway, I was sitting here looking at pictures of everyone's shave dens and she started looking with me and asking questions. A few hours later I was shaving and she came in the bathroom asking more questions. Next she climbed her 7 month pregnant self on the toilet and cleaned out the medicine cabinet above and said "there you go, now you have more room." I was pretty excited. I guess she is on board. The only problem now is I need more stuff to fill it up!

my SWMBO is not so understanding, but shaving is my time so it doesnt bother me. Many wonderful vendors out there to help you fill er up.
Pretty soon the cabinet won't be enough to hold your supplies, I will almost gurantee it

She's also helped me clear out the (soon-to-be replaced) medicine cabinet and when discussing new ones, she's taking the shelf heights into consideration so as to fit the larger aftershave/product bottles.

My wife informed me that she won't be joining me in wet shaving. I'm just glad she is supportive. I doubt we are the same. Just similar.

Most wives come around when they start smelling all the colognes and aftershaves. Luckily I have a wife that finds my wet-shaving sexy. Oh, don't worry about filling that cabinet! You'll have 'er full in no time!

Congrats . but that space will look small really soon. I'm really lucky too my wife supports my shaving this way since she loves the smooth skin and the lack of a 5pm shadow at 8pm at night.
As long as I stay reasonable and pay the bills 1st she seems to be ok with it...then again it hasn't bitten me so bad i've blown my savings LOL.

That might just change when she starts wishing her legs were as smooth as your mug, and if you mention there are quite a few women enjoying their wetshaving routine, myself included.
My wife (also pregnant, strangely) has already allowed me an entire shelf. Granted, this is a shelf on one of those gigantic plastic shelves that we have stashed in our half dismantled and hopfully soon to be renovated bathroom. Basically it's about 16"x36" worth of glorious space that's all mine!
And her two shelves are below mine.
She's already stated she won't be joining me in wet/DE shaving, but when I was wandering around sniffing shaving creams and whatnot in the Vitamin Shoppe she did find a shaving gel-ish thing she couldn't put down. Some kind of pomegranate/something else mixture that made her eyes roll back. Too girly for me, so on her legs it goes!
And I was wandering around on the bay looking for an old spice mug, watching three listings which each had different advantages. One was two mugs, one was brush and mug, and the last was mug, brush and long handled ball end tech. She talked me into the two mug one simply so either I could split the cost with my brother, or hand one down to my son, who has recently taken an interest in wet shaving. We're also considering getting him his first DE. We'll have to leave the blade out, though.. he's only 2.

Good for you. My wife kind of tolerates it. She mainly rolls her eyes, but I do have a couple of shelves in the closet for my stuff and she doesn't gripe to much when I get new stuff, so I can't complain.
Every now and then, I'll whip up some rose shaving cream for her when she is shaving her legs and she likes that.
