Good D/E Razors

I have been shaving with a meng shi razor i snagged off of ebay. Im wondering what are some good quality razors that are fairly aggressive and will give me a close shave? Thanks in advance.

I would assume that a Meng Shi is comparable to a Weishi...

A good step from there would be what Aevum mentionned. I tried to put them in order of most to least aggressive. However, I might be mistaken an if so, please correct me!

Muhle R89 (if it's the old model, that is the most aggressive DE I ever tried, more aggressive than the Slant!) I wouldn't know for the new R89...

Of course the Merkur Slant (that one is a great razor that needs to be tried at least once!)

Gillette NEW (Great razor, it's currently my daily razor)

Slim/Fatboy are good choices too (I leave those in the middle because they are adjustable, they could be very mild or quite aggressive)

Merkur HD (+1)

Gillette Superspeed (a thiny bit more aggressive but a great razor).

These are all quantum leaps over the meng shi.

You could also try to get your hands on a HD Rocket or a Red Tip Super Speed. Lovely D/Es.,or failing that a 1912 Gem S/E. The old R89 is a great razor,but it is,as previously mentioned,a very aggressive beast indeed. Cheers Phil.
