Going to Canaries (Spain) soap?

Gentlemen, I will be going to the Canaries (Spain) and was wondering if there were any shaving soaps that might be commonly used I could pick up? Any advice would be appreciated!

Ha, you might be lucky to find a can of foam, maybe a stick of something.
why shave there?! It's paradise!
but try out the market for some local aloe lotion. Good for sunburn.
Also good for tequila.
send pics.

For sure you can get: La Toja shaving stick, Lea shaving stick, and if you are lucky you might find La Toja Manantiales Shaving soap. If you like after shave balms, buy La Toja Manantiales After Shave Balm.

dito.

Oh and have fun. It is very nice out there.

Be sure to also check out the new LEA stick. You can recognize it from the text '+ Glicerina & Lanoline '. Beware of the old formulation!
Any of the sticks on the picture will be obtainable in supermarkets! Don't forget the local beer!

Gentlemen, thanks for the info and I am looking forward for a bit of a "hunt" to find the La Toja. I can find the Speick in Germany and have Palmolive... Any other suggestions will be gratefully accepted!

Not a soap, but I highly recomend giving Brummel cologne a sniff if you run into it in the supermarket. Old school spanish cologne...

Gentlemen, I have just returned from Lanzarote in the Canary Islands. Looking for shaving soap there was disappointing to say the least. There are numerous small supermarkets that cater to the basic needs of the tourists. The only shaving cream I could find was canned goo and in the one shop I found some LEA cream in a tube at 3.80 euro. I did find in the capital of Lanzarote (Arrecife) a large supermarket Hyper Dino and did find the same LEA tube of cream for 1.80 euro. And some Florid after shave and shaving oil.

I was told by locals that getting the same products in the Canaries as you would get on mainland Spain is hit and miss due to the fact everything is shipped in. So if you go to the Canaries and expect to get La Toja stick or any other form that canned goo - good luck.

I do have to say I enjoyed my time and was only mildly disappointed not to find some shaving soaps. The food and scenery more than made up for it!
