Going crazy over trying to idrntify this case

I can't seem to pinpoint what goes in this case.



It looks fairly similar to this case (courtesy of Mr Razor):

But the top design is throwing me off. Am I missing something?

And by "idrntify", I mean "identify"

I would say you have found what goes in there from the Mr. Razor picture. The outer design is slightly different, but I am sure Gillette had more than one design for those.

I figured that was it as well. I just wasn't sure because of the case design

That same type of case was also used in the Old Type sets during the '20s:

I might lean a little more that direction just because of the way your Gillette diamond is raised off center. It's possible that the headliner originally had the diamond higher with "OLD TYPE" stamped beneath it, similar to this set:

Well I concur with the others, Gillette is known to do different versions of the same model (one for each of its big markets I guess...) England, USA, Germany... I mean the same razor can be released with a square box in Germany, a round one in the USA etc... that's why it's very difficult and Mr Razor hasn't got everything.
