Posted a pictorial review http://badgerandblade.com/vb/showthread.php/310979-Godrej-Rich-Foam-test-lather-pics recently but haven't had a proper shave until today.
Latherability: high, a small amount (thumbnail) on the SR 3824 and applied direct to face gave a RICH lather quickly. Brush was pre-soaked and shaken to a dryer state and only needed two "dips" to apply further hydration to facilitate a thick and glossy product which did not break down and washed off clean at end. Considering my first test lather was in a bowl I also had doubts about it's ability to go face as easy as it did.
Scent: think of "spicy" barber shop. Clean, soapy (in a subtle way) but with a sweeter, spicy top-note. Not offensive to me but could polarize. Rinsed away to leave no residual odor I could detect.
Comfort of shave: high. No issues at all. My EJ Barley/Feather cut close and comfortably. I've been using the EJ shimmed with 3 x blade-shims lately so the little irritation I did get (usual spots under chin/side neck/weird beard patterns) were my fault not the lather. No reaction to the cream 10 hours later so it passes the "won't make me break out" test.
Final Comments: for the price this is as good as some other creams I have tried (Proraso Green, Red, Trumpers Lime, Almond, TOBS Shaver Shop, TFT Lime).
TBH I have been an almost exclusive tallow-soap user of late and was surprised at the effectiveness of this cream. I can't see it knocking Cella/The Fat/Arko out of my daily rotation but it's comforting knowing that I can travel and throw a nice, SMALL tube (Raso Green has been my "travel cream") into my dopp kit rather than a tub of soap and be confident in being able to reproduce a quality lather at destination. For the price it is most definately worth considering if you are looking for something cheap, noobie-proof and that gives a decent lather up easily and quickly.
Thanks for being patient and reading.
