Glenlivet 21 or Macallan 17?

No question it has to be The Glenlivet!
Neither, Balvenie Port Wood 21, blows both of these out of the water.

My preference is The Glenlivet.
Neither - the money deserves the Ardbeg 18 year old.
Between the two I'm partial to the MacAllan. But I prefer the peat of Ardbeg too...
If you are a Glenlevit guy I would go two bottles of 16 yr Nadurra.
And thus, the problem with scotch. So many good ones!
Buy one you've never tried. I don't think you can go wrong with scotch at that price point.

Totally different styles. The Glenlivet is a highland, smooth, soft whisky. The Mac has a lot more peat and 'sea briny' flavors.

Both are speysides. Glenlivet is floral, fruity. Macallan, has a lot of sherry. I haven't tried the fine oak series tho but i hear it's a bit lighter.
Peat & briny? That sounds like laphroig
For $130, you should be thinking Macallan 18.
