Glass Nibbed Fountain Pens (Similar to Glass Dip Pens in Concept)

That is interesting. Nice amber look to the glass. If it is as as detailed as a steel/current nib, that has to be some awesome glass work. I imagine as well that it had to be pretty perfect, because there is no adjusting the tines on that sucker. :)

But, honestly, it almost looks like a Frankenpen to me, if I had seen it in another place, I would have assumed someone bought a dip pen, and just jammed it up where the nib would be, and then was trying to sell their failure. lol.

I've worked on a couple of these, one for a member here on B&B. I had one once and sold it quickly, not my cup of tea.

Zero flex, and the inks have to be "just perfect" in order to flow correctly since the nib acts as the feed.
 
I was really tempted to bid on that one in the OP, but I figured it would be a challenge or just not work well. They do look cool, though.
