Smoking a corn dog in aviators and a top hat
I figured after the first blast, I'd have to wait 20,000 years to be able to go out for a smoke anyway.
I think that under the circumstances, you'd be allowed to smoke inside. Or do you prefer to go outside?

100% cellar worthy. [emoji106]
Darn. Guess I'm gonna need to buy a few half pounds !! It's like firearms. The guns aren't cheap, but neither is Ammo. Without ammo it's a paper weight. Without tobacco it's a stinky paperweight.

The leaders of New York already have post apocalyptic smoking rules in place.

Anyone have an idea of what the half life of a Savinelli might be?

I have tins that I have smoked new with others that have a few years on them. It isn't the same as Penzance, but that is hardly a requirement for it to be cellar worthy. Lovely stuff if you like latakia; definitely worth trying new (and likely only better with age).

Just had time for half a bowl of newly tinned Quiet Nights. Being a newbie smoker I would say it is reasonably similar to Penzance on the forward notes, but seems to lack some of the depth. I'll finish the bowl later to see if it changes at all.

I have so many blends I've never tried in my cellar...just buy it.

A sampling of things I've never tried in my cellar...
1.6lbs of Artisan's Blend
1.5lbs Blackwoods Flake
1.25lbs McC #2015
1.5lbs Mississippi River
2.75lbs of St. James Flake (Hope I like this one LOL.)
1lb GLP Union Square
1.2lb VA No.24

Those are just the ones over a pound. I have lots more untried between 6-15 oz.

So yeah, just buy it.

Edit: How is this even a question you ask? This is the BL. Please. We have a reputation to uphold.

If you don't like the St James Flake I know someone who does. :)
So just buy it!

Or, if you don't like it, jar it up and come back to it. I couldn't stand SJF (or any other Perique) fresh, so I put it aside. I came back 2 years later and loved it. I have liked every aged Perique blend I have tried.
