Gillettte Super Speed or a knock off?

I have found this what I think is a Gillette Super Speed but there is no Gillette stamp anywhere on the razor. The razor is also missing a date code, the only stamp on the razor is PAT NOS. ON. PACKAGE. My question is this a Gillette or a knock off?

Techs are three piece, this is a TTO. I'm guessing 40's style Superspeed.
Like this at Mr Razor (but the razor in the link looks like it has a Gillette logo. Otherwise, sure looks like yours...

I would say it's 1950 given that it says PACKAGE inside the head than missed being stamped on the other side. After this Gillette changed to ON PKG in the head (when they remember to stamp them.....:) Below is a photo of an American Rocket/Milord but to the best of my knowledge Super Speeds and Milords shared the same head designs each year.

it isnt a tech it is a '49 superspeed without stamps of the bottom. very nice find but maybe gillette forgot to mark the bottom

How do you know it is a 1949? Not that I doubt you, I'm just curious. I know it is not a 1947 or 1950 or after (I suppose that leaves only 1948 or '49).

FWIW, this one looks like a real Gillette. I have a 1952 SS that looks exactly like this one (but with the usual marking on the base plate). It says "PAT NOS ON PKG."

In the above post I also should have included the observation of how the head is mounted on the handle.
That method started in 1950 but they were stamping ON PKG inside the head on the V-3s half through 1950.

Looks real to me, things do slip by occasionally on an assembly line.

I got you Tom....This is what Tom means by the head mounting mark, this marking started in 1950 due to machine tooling change. The round mark from the rod end hole.

Here are 2 illustrations of 1948 and 1950 Rod Exit Hole areas-
