Gillette “woody”

Hello, gave up finding a suitable velvet for ABC cases, so made a wood liner. I suspect it's tigerwood, but could be wrong, purchased it years ago.
Bottom is finished, not sure how to arrange the top, diamond will be a metal one salvaged from a 460B case. Hinges were donated by a wrecked Canadian Gilette pocket case.

Thank you. The top will be a bit tricky, but I’ll come up with something.

The fit was even tighter than expected, so had to sand a bevel into the top, will be covered up with a patch. Far form finished, just a layer of linseed oil to make the grain pop.

Hello, the Tuckaway got derailed, so pulled out a 460b from the spares box. Flipped it over as the top is pretty beaten and the bottom was cannibalised earlier.
It works, so the upper panels will be veneered too.

Not exatly wood, but didn’t want to open a new thread.
A logical but theoratical Aristocrat Jr. case made from a No 15 and a FASAN outer box with replaced tabs.

Barbasol “woody”, came in a Big Fellow case, replaced the missing head spacer and will repurpose the original emblem.
