Gillette Thermal Face Scrub - Watery Mistake

I got a tube of Gillette's Thermal Face Scrub. It was a bit too thick and hard to squeeze out. I added some water into the tube to thin it a bit.

BIG MISTAKE!

The tube heated up like a hand warmer. Darn Exothermic Reaction! Ooops.

I think I can still use it as a regular soapy/grainy face scrub without the "thermal" feature.

I've used that before. Good face scrub, but a dab of it doesn't go very far. I used it all up in a week's time. Plus, the design of the tube makes it hard to use every last bit.

Agree, need to cut up the tube to get to the last dab.

I got mine on sale for $2. Regular price is between $4 and $8.

Ha.... that's funny. One of those chemical hand warmers. Good to know. :biggrin1: Keep a tube in the glovebox in case of an emergency.

I've used up a tube of that before. Personally, I find the thermal action of it a bit gimicky. It's warm for a few seconds and then it's like any other face scrub. Still, works very well. But I don't believe that it actually is warm long enough to do anything to your beard that a hot washcloth can't do.
