Here's a list of YouTube videos of some truly 'vintage' television ads for Gillette. I included the one at the end for its subjective humor, but it appears to be wrongly described as an ad for Gillette. Correct me if I'm wrong. "Known The World Over", I think that Gillette, at least in its earlier days, was too unabashedly proud of its name to ever market a differently-branded product. I didn't include any ads for later-stage razors -- just ones for the 'traditional' single-blade gear which made Gillette what it once was as a grooming staple and has become as a cult icon.

Note the price of the Toggle featured in the 1959 Christmas season ad. I recently saw a great, near-mint one sell on eBay for $710.

As a follow-up, I did a bit of research which I should have done before posting this. In 2000, LYNX -- the deodorant and personal-care products company, not the text-only browser entity -- made a market grab at Gillette's Achilles' heel by using this fresh ad to target young men, and perhaps a few young women, who were just entering the shaving demographic. So, while not a Gillette ad, this spot's presence among Gillette promotions is relatively relevant.
