I never really cared for using my Tech, but after reading the number of posts where others are really liking the results it delivers, I thought that I would give it a little more love and start using it more often. Being a mild razor (IMHO) it really provides a very smooth and enjoyable shave. It has been my daily driver for my last three enjoyable shaves.

I have a few techs. My favourite if the English flat bottom tech, which is excellent with a sharp blade. It has become my daily driver.
The newer ones I own somehow have less blade feel and I find them a bit too light.

Some days you just want an easy, gentle shave. The Tech with a sharp blade works great for this.

I use a much shallower angle (riding the cap) with a Tech and I have been amazed at how good it is. I'm on my 6th or 7th blade out of a blade sampler run with one now. Love it!
Yup, great shaver, have four of them and i love all of them.
If you like ’mild/moderate’ razors, then it is tough to beat a Tech!!
I've got quite a few, can't pass them up when I see one looking brand new for $10 lol.

I have a half dozen Techs, love my English Tech the best so far. Would love to try a Flat Bottom Tech sometime.
I’m bumping this thread for no other reason than I love my tech. Absolutely adore it. So simple and quietly efficient.

They are. Whenever I see one in the wild it has to come home with me. I have far too many but I cannot help myself.
56 Tech and a Gillette Silver Blue = buttery smooth efficiency, for me anyways! 
Techs are great. Heavy, lightweight, they all do their job with comfort and ease. Put a sharp blade in it, and you may never look back ;-)

I have the exact same razor, been using it for the last couple of shaves! Loaded with a Feather it gives me a great shave!!!

Very nice looking tech. My most recent tech purchase was a fourth quarter (Z4) 1954 Gillette ball end tech. I’m trying to get one from each quarter of 1954. Three down and one to go. Only need a second quarter one to complete it
(Currently) my favorite razor... 1947 Gillette Flat Bottom Tech.
