Thanks. I picked up two at an antique mall that are notched, no date, so I guess that makes them ‘48 or ‘49. Both all brass. Great mild razors.^This. There was the change around ‘48 to the notched center bar; then the change in wording in ‘50.

I used a 1953 Superspeed exclusively for six years. (My grandfather’s). When I finally decided to get a replacement - I got a pre-date code model - it kicked off my RAD, which now shows no sign of ending. But I was more than happy with nothing but a Superspeed!
