Anyone have experience using a plastic DE? Considering cracking one of these open and trying for novelty sake...

I do not know about those and I seem to remember that they get pretty crappy reviews. However, the Wilkinson Classic plastic DE is quite a decent razor.

Speaking of plastic... Here's a Chinese fully boxed double edge - and yes it's plastic! Stocked as new in a nearby shop for less than a dollar.
Not sure if I dare put this one to my face either

Don't know about the razor but both the 'super thins' and the 'rubies' are decent blades.

Me too.
I bought a couple of em from a seller in Indonesia and they are ok. Better than a Fusion at least
Would make a fine travel razor.
