Gillette Standard

Is anyone familiar with the Gillette Standard shaving brush?
I found one at a thrift a couple years back and cleaned it up and have used it daily VERY GOOD brush! It has a black and white handle and other than Gillette Standard the only other markings are "Made In England" on the top and also a Made In England decal on the side. Thanks for any info.

I would like to see a picture as well. Gillette did sell complete shaving kits, and travel kits back in the day, that included brushes.

It does appear to be bakelite.
I guess I ended up with an oddball brush??
It does a good job anyways, I prefer it to the Klenzo B 843 I was using before I found it.

Interesting, they do look exactly the same.
My guess would be some company was a contractor for Rooney, Gillette and others and just made all the brushes the same with different names. Wonder who the company was? Either way it is a GREAT brush to shave with.
