Gillette Slim Parts, any sources?

Hey everyone, I am new here and I tried using the search feature but did not have much luck finding what I am looking for. You see, I recently bought a Gillette Slim from a family member but the end cap will not stay on reliably. It is the crimp on version (not sure if they made screw on Slims) and upon further inspection I can see that the cap is mangled and chipped. The chip is bad enough that I don't expect that I will be able to recrimp it. With that in mind do you guys know of any places where you can purchase old Gillette parts, or more unlikely, newly re-manufactured parts? I would prefer to fix this one instead of replacing it, and I know that there are tons of broken Slims out there with usable end caps but I have not had any luck on ebay or doing google searches for parts, so I'm hoping someone here can shine some light on some other options. Any and all leads would be appreciated. Thanks!

Buy another and part it out, or once your post count gets high enough, post your need for a beater on the BST.

AFAIK, there's nobody selling just parts.

End caps are soldered on, if you can't do that then try epoxy.

This is a rather old dead thread, but I just disassembled mine and slightly mangled the cap. At the risk of rendering it permanently assembled, I'm thinking solder or JB Weld.

This is just from last year ... I've seen them much older than this coming back from the underworld.
