Cheers, I used Humbrol enamel model paint, in gloss black. I heard lots of people use Testors model paint too, but I wasn't able to source that here. The Humbrol worked great, quick drying too.
What did you apply it with?
A small thin modelling paint brush, like you’d use to paint an Airfix model. I put a blob of paint on each number & dot, dabbed it in well then used a piece of kitchen paper to wipe the excess paint off the dial.
I have not restored a razor yet. But this reminded me of when I wanted to highlight the stamped lettering on the side of my Glock slide. Of course, it's black, so I used a white grease pencil. Scribbled it in there and wiped it off. Worked great. I'd bet a crayon would work just as well.
