Well, he himself sells blades and razors should be well informed otherwise I don't understand why make videos where he alarms traditional shaving enthusiasts and Gillette blade lovers

Okay, I doubt that Gillette blades made in China are much better than Russian ones, but that is my mental limitation and I guess in common with many others in this forum as well.
He makes videos like that, to scare people into buying blades from his site. To be fair, I won't click on anything he puts out so didn't watch the video

Blades made in China which are counterfeit will likely not be as good. Moar counterfeit products aren't.

Blades made by Gillette in an approved factory with quality control and supervision, would likely be as good as the blades made in other factories.

Many people have a phobia of things made in China, as they browse on their China made phones in their China made shoes in a room lit with China made LED bulbs, etc.

As I know in recent years many gillette blades including King Gillette and the Gillette Platinum blades have been moved from China to Russia.
Look what you have written.

1. Blade models were moved from Russia to China and India.
2. They are not that many:

Astra SS and Astra SP to India
King C. Gillette and Gillette Platinum (light blue) to China.

Many Americans and probably also users from Western Europe want P&G to move out of Russia completely, I know. But P&G doesn't care. So they just move the blade models sold in Europe and N. America to their two Asian plants. It is as simple as that. They built the huge plant near St. Petersburg years ago. Initially it was a joint venture, with no more than 70% Gillette ownership. But now the plant is 100% Gillette.

I think I mentioned in a different thread that P&G also has a detergent plant in the Tula region, which is actually the biggest of all P&G detergent plants.
