Just to confirm what I think I know, the Richwood has the new improved head correct?

I love the look of the Richwood, the Bostonian and the other New Improved razors. I have a New Improved Tuckaway that I bought just for the head. It is a nice shaver. A little different blade feel vs the standard NEW LC and SC, but a good shave. I need to spend more time with it.

I don't have one but I want a new improved head. I love my news, like my old 102 heads, haven't tried the new improved. If anyone has one they were thinking of getting rid of . . .

The Brits made a Richwood with a NEW head identical to the head used on the #77 / #88. The case was made in the USA. Also known as a Gillette #81, it came in either gold or silver (or perhaps nickel or rhodium or chrome).

Do you have one (or more) in silver tone? What are they plated with? Silver, rhodium, nickel?
I have both a gold and a silver one, and it's definitely silver. I'm pretty sure mine are both three-piece models, but we've seen them both ways, although the three-piece versions seem to be more common (if you can speak that way about a razor we've seen so few of in general). I know Berkin's got at least one of each.
I just bought a silver one on the Bay but haven't received it yet. Looking forward to seeing how it compares with my Bostonian. Will try and post pictures when it arrives

Yes, according to the ShaveWiki: Richwood, Bostonian, New Standard, Big Fellow, Aristocrat, Milady Decolletee, Tuckaway, Chesterfield, Chippendale, Traveler, and De Luxe are all variations on the same razor.
