Gillette Razor Identification - (Pictures)

Hey everyone, I picked this Razor up today and had a good look in the wiki for what this razor is and unfortunately I cannot find it! The code on it is L-3. If anyone could help me out on the identity of this fella that would be great.

Here are the pictures -

I paid five dollars for it and it was in such dirty condition you couldnt even see the gillette word on the top. All the texture on the handle was full of grime also. I soaked for a couple of hours in dishwashing liquid then cleaned it with a tiny wire brush.
Once again, any help would be much appreciated.

The head is from 1966, but isn't the handle from the 40's?

I think you're right Scott. The handle is identical to my '40's version, pre date code Tech without logo. But I don't know when they changed handles. There are so many Tech versions out there it's hard to tell.

ps Nice razor whatever it turns out to be. My regular shaver right now is a 1964 Gillette Adjustable and I love it.
