If you have SiriusXM satellite radio, the MLB channel is replaying old baseball games from the 40s-70s this month at night. Most are classic World Series games, sponsored by Gillette. To their credit, the channel is preserving the commercial breaks between innings, so there are some fine specimens of Gillette advertising to be heard.

Our Friday routine as well. Saw some great fights and some that ended tragically. Emile Griffith beat Benny Kid Paret senseless. He died a few days later. They didn’t do many TKO’s back then and the matches went 15 rounds. A little much for a twelve year old.
