I have 50 of the current ones coming I believe tomorrow, along with 100 Astra SS. I know that I love the Astra's, not sure of the Gillette Plats.... Hope I love them. I see my favorite, the GSBs have gone up crazy in price recently. So I thought I should stock up while I can.

BTW there are some Wilkinson Sword Gillette made in China....those are good.......$11

Information/Clarification regarding two types of "Gillette Platinum" blades
Seems there is a often confusion regarding two products bearing the name "Gillette Platinum", and some people posting or reading may be unsure which product is being referenced. Some people seem to be confused, thinking that the Gillette Platinum Light Blue is "the new packaging" of the Dark...

I've tried all 3 from RBC and they are all very similar if not identical. If I had to choose, I'd say the light blue "Platinum Swedes" are slightly smoother and sharper, but I have a feeling I'm imagining that. There's another dark blue version of Platinums with Arabic writing on the tuck - also sharp and smooth.
If you like Plats, you'll enjoy whatever version you get.
