Gillette Old Type / Merkur OC (or any extremely mild OC) in stainless steel?

I just found out that the Merkur OC is based off the Gillette Old Type. The threading of my Merkur OC is getting a little eaten up after many years of use. Does anyone make a Gillette Old Type/Merkur OC (or any extremely mild OC razor) in stainless steel? I would love one!!!!

Have you considered a Karve Christopher Bradley Stainless Steel razor with a mild open comb baseplate (you can choose from a variety of open comb baseplates, from mild - say A or B - to wild - F)?

Interesting idea! I never really thought of that. I was just thinking of razors where the blades rests on combs of the plate...but that design is similar and the blade looks fully supported. I also forgot they go to negative exposure! Thanks!
