Gillette NEW!

Hey guys, a couple weeks ago I got a Gillette NEW long comb with a ball end handle in an antiques store for 12 bucks. Came with the original case and blade holder too. I've already got some nice pieces in my collection, Slim, Fatboy, 40s Milord, etc., but this NEW blows them all away for me. Every shave is BBS with no weepers or irritation. I'll post some pictures later, but wow, I can't believe people don't talk about this razor more often. Cheers

I talk the new up every chance I get. I had mine replated in chrome, and put a handle from a little bastone on it and it is the best razor I own. I have a couple of extras, and I'm probably going to replate them and try other razor handles, like sabi and jaws, too.

Have a new deluxe, new improved and a new LC. The LC gives me the best shaves each time.

The humble NEW is a great shaver. I used a bar handle LC yesterday.
You might say that I'm a GNU: Gillette NEW Über fan.

Hi,

I use a New LC for pass 1 daily, unless I skip a day and then drop back to the Old. Dont get in a hurry with the New because it is less aggressive than the Old, or weepers will sprout! You dont have to ask me how I know.....

This will probably be my next razor to buy/find. I have tried to win a couple on the bay, but always get outbid. The hunt continues, because you guys keep hyping it up.

I can't seem to find a short comb new though for a decent price, it's a little flustering, lol. They're harder to find at a good price than a new improved.
