Gillette NEW OC head. will a Weber Bulldog fit?

I have a Gillette NEW OC head and need a good handle with some decent heft to go with it. Is the Weber Bulldog a good pairing. (I have heard the collar of the handle may not flush up well.)

Need suggestions/ advice please.

Some of the New OC bottom plates have ridges and some are flat.
The top photo is an American New OC with a smaller handle which is solid nickel plated brass, and my Bulldog handle doesn't fit this one.
The bottom photo is an English New OC with a flat bottom plate and the Bulldog handle fits this no problem. I think that some of the earlier Weber bulldog handles had a smaller diameter throat and they should fit.

Razorock/cadet/matador razor handles will fit, and the price is right. Several style are available. I have a little bastone handle on my new and really like it.

The recess on the American New OC is too small for my Ikon Bulldog II handle. There's a gap with the handle done up tight, as indicated by the arrow:

I'm using a Tradere handle with a long-comb New, and am very happy with it.

The Shave Craft Bulldog handle might fit! I think the throat is a similar size to the Old Weber Bulldog Handle?
Someone on the B&B forum must own one and tried it with a New OC!

I think Shave Craft and Bulldog II are the same width.
Maybe Weber Classic handle should fit.

I have the new RR SLAB handle which is identical to the Ikon Shavecraft handle and I am using on a long comb new, it fits perfectly. The handle is a bargain from italianbarber.com!

It depends on the gap on the base plate. Bob explained it well here:

That's due to different handle tip size and razor base plate gap size.
For some reason Gillette made NEW heads with 2 different gap sizes on the base plate small .350 and large .400 and corresponding small and large tipped handles.

Interesting that I would find this thread today. I'm dealing on a Bulldog handle and I was wondering if I could find an open comb head somewhere. It may be a tall order to find a vintage Gillette New open comb head. Any suggestions on what modern day OC heads are available? Just the head.
