Gillette NEW OC and what I found works for blades.

I have been using my NEW OC lately and have found really sharp blades that work well on other razors work good, but are what I would call harsh. When I throw in a "dull" blade that works terrible in my other razors, it performs like a champ. So I guess for me, with the NEW OC, the cheaper blades are top performers. Might as well save a bit of coin if cheaper ones give a more comfortable and just as close of a shave!

I like an Astra SP in my NEW, but I haven't tried anything else yet. Thanks for the tip!

Blade choice might be a tad different depending on which one you are talking about

I have found that my more aggressive razors often seem to make more of the less sharp blades- My R41 gives me an incredible shave out of a derby, for instance.
