Question Gents: How does this one shave? I own a 1953 SS and love her. Just curious to how the Milford is. It appears very similar to the SS.

To me, they shave the same. Only difference is the thin gold coating....

The ‘Milord’ (no F) — prounounced ‘My Lord’ — is essentially a gold-plated SS and depending on the year will provide a similar shave. Earlier versions still have the winged center bar and shave a bit more aggressively than the newer, notched center bar versions.
