Mr. Carl Joyce Gilbert: At Gillette, he became president in 1956, and two years later was elected chairman. He stepped down as chairman and chief executive officer in 1966 to head Gillette's newly formed executive committee. (source NY Times Obituary C.J.Gilbert. Nov15-83)

Ziegler might possibly have acquired the title of President when C.Gilbert acquired the title chairman and CEO in 1958. As for the signature originality, I would try to have it closely compared to an official document like Gillette's financial annual report. Many times, a senior Executive's personal Secretary got very good at signing correspondence on their bosses behalf.
