Hello all. Just came across this site while I was looking for razors.
I have been shaving with the Gillette Adjustable Razors all my life and am trying to find a new one with a long handle but it must have an all metal head as opposed to the combination metal doors and metal/black plastic base.
I have read many posts about these razors appearing on Ebay listings going for big bucks, but there don't appear to be many new ones and the ones that claim to be nearly new or excellent condition seem to be polished and sanitized.
I have tried the Merkur Futur but it seems bulky compared to the good ol' Gillette razors and doesn't seem to get under the nose very well. I hear the Parker brand adjustable is cheap.
I have always set the razors at '9' which seems to work fine for me, even though I have a fairly thick beard but sensitive skin with lots of razor bumps.
