I found this razor last night while going through some of my late grandfathers belonging and was hoping you guys might be able to ID it for me. Im not a DE user, but plan to clean it up and save it for sentimental reasons.
Yours looks to be in good shape, with just a little cleaning with dish soap, hot water, and an old toothbrush needed. A quick buff with a microfiber cloth, or maybe a little MAAS polish will bring out the shine!
Very nice, neat family memento and great idea to keep it. If you look on the base plate you will see a "4" (which indicates manufacture during 4th qtr) and across from that , on other side of handle, will be a letter (D thru G) that indicates year made between 1958 and 1961.
