Gillette Blue Stainless Steel ridiculous.

I know this has been posted here before but I am going to have to say: I used the blues a few days now and like they way they cut a lot on my 39c, however the amount and also stickiness of the literally globs of glue is ridiculous. It is impossible to remove from the blade, even from the razor. Getting a proper blade gap is simply impossible. Other blades may have it but not even noticeable. This one has a visible 3 dimensional rubbery coin like glob sitting there.

I really do not know what is going on with this. Sorry for the rant. Other than not being usable to me a great blade. My favorite Astra SP has some of the type of glue but lots less and easier to deal with.

Some people recommend running hot water over the blade to remove the wax.

Never been an issue for me. I put the glue side down on the initial load. I understand why the glue is there, but admit I don't understand why they use so much. But I can't say they have ever interfered with the blade gap or the shave.

just keep an old used blade around to scrape off the wax,it comes right off.

I just ignore it. It's annoying but doesn't affect my shave.

It bothered me at first but now I run the blade under hot water and just put it in my razor essentially ignoring it, plus it never has affected my shave.
