Gillette Blue Blade Wrapper misprint?

Good evening, I just noticed one of the wrappers on one of my Blue Blades is different than the others I have. I recieved the blade as part of an auction I won two weeks ago. There were also two Barbasol double edge blades and a blade bank in the auction, (the blade bank was why I bid on it), so anyway I see that the Gillette Blue blade is darker blue , than my others, and the background surrounding King Gillette's image is also blue, instead of white like my other wrappers. The blade is made in USA and the first patent number on the back is 1633739, and a reissue patent number is 17597. I've never seen a wrapper that was all blue like that, can anyone tell me anything about it? Is it worth saving? Thanks everyone.

Is it this one? See more here.

The one in the image is from 1935 according to the F3 date code on the blade.
Your blade should also have a date code printed on one side under the Gillette logo.

The date code is only printed on the blade so you would have to open it if you want to know what year it was produced.

Thank you xillion, I don't think I want to open it unless I plan to use it. Do you think the blade is worth not opening at all?

The wrapper is interesting. I too am curious to know how long they were printed like yours. I'd only open it if you are curious. Otherwise it's probably best to leave it sealed. It might be nice to have it with a razor set from the same time period.

It is a carbon steel blade so it is susceptible to rust if it hasn't been stored properly. Most of the wrapped blue blades I've opened had rust on their edges. I did open a clean blade with no rust once and had a shave with it and it was a very uncomfortable. It felt as if it was pulling my whiskers out rather than cutting them.
