Gilette rubie,pretty good blade,smooth

Had first shave yesterday with this one,very smooth blade,in my merkur 33c,no nicks at all,bbs shave in 2 passes,any opinions on this one

Rubies are ’solid‘ mid-tier blades for me. Others like them even more. YMMV for sure!

Best blade I have ever used by far. I love most of the Russian Gillette blades, but these beat the others hands down.

They're nice blades but sometimes a bit harder to find and more expensive than other Gillette blades that I like just as much. Gillette Silver Blues are pretty comparable IMO.

My second favourite blade, and only by a whisker (pardon the pun). A bit pricier than most but still worth it.

Yes,solid blade,depends on razor too.when i switch to more agressive razor from my 33c i need couple shaves to get used to agressiveness and weight...to get bbs without nicks.33c gives me perfect shave every time,although more agressive razors give little closer shave.Sharper blades in 33 c do the job well.

Definitely one of my favourite blades. Just bought another 100 and the price was up. Still worth it though.

Very nice blade. Cost is immaterial to me, since I only use 4 or 5 blades a year. Three if I only use Personna Blues.... I spend a lot more on soap.
