Nice find, but... no sticks? I am fairly sure they were still being made in 1937.
So sad what shaving has declined too vs what our Great Grandfathers had axcess too.
These William gift sets sure look nice. It sure is nice that we can still all get Williams soap locally.
Pearls on a pig...or polishing a turd, but in the end it's still a turd! (Williams is a turd) but these ads are pretty sweet.
Vintage Williams was a great product, it was nothing like the bastardized product it is today. Like some many older products, a once great product has been thoroughly destroyed by reformulation. Vintage Williams is a top performer that is still able to hold it's own against some of the best products of today. It's nothing like the utter crap they sell under the Williams name today.
Wow, a wooden bowl for vintage Williams, not unlike the Yardley lavender in a wood bowl my father used to use. I'd go for one of the $1.50 packs, with the wood bowl and Aqua Velva, just so I could say I tried Aqua Velva once.

man, i would kill to be able to get a nice set of shaving stuff like that for Christmas.
