Wow you didn't waste any time getting rid of the v2 Henson +++. Did you have the v2 medium or the v1 +++ to compare with? What didn't you like about it? I actually have 2 of the V2 +++ razors already.

I had 3 Henson +++ at one point. Ti +++ V1 (kept), Al +++ V1 (traded), Al +++ V2 (sold). I kept the Ti V1 +++ as I like the weight better. Aluminum is too light for me. They all shave identical too me. I didn’t want to be redundant. Same efficiency and smoothness to me. Ti had better balance, about the only difference. The edges are nice rounded off which I preferred in the V2, but shave was the same @Shave Souffle

Good answer. If I need a heavier feel I just add a SS handle. Works great.

A note on the Alpha Claymore Evolution in high polish. I doubt we'll ever see a Claymore Evo in the polished finish again. They were part of the very first production runs. They've been sold out for months now on both the Alpha and Executive Shaving Company sites. I don't know this for a fact but Brian Mulreany preferred the matte finish.

I have both because I figured, the polish might become a collector's item in decades to come. I don't use mine for that reason. But I do have it on display on our bathroom vanity top. <eg>
