Well, I'm really getting on board the SynthTrain...just got my new brush from Top of the Chain here in Canada. This is an AP Shave Co. brush that's exclusive to TOTC. It's a 24mm G5B synth. Great feel, lathers up with creme soaps like a champ and holds enough lather for 3 passes...if you need that. I use a lathering bowl/mug and refresh the lather by spinning the brush a couple of times during the shave. This was a more expensive brush than some of my other synths but I really liked the handle and colouring. I've got another brush from AP coming in but that's gonna be a gift. they do have a nice selection of brushes and the customer service from both stores is excellent.
