Getting blade to fit razor

Have some vintage blades that I'd like to use in a modern DE razor.
Any ideas how I could accomplish this? Or is it a lost cause?
I did think of a single hole punch but not sure what they look like,
and if there are any safety issues...I do not want to get injured
with a flying metal shard.

Thoughts?

You'll likely get alignment issues.

Plenty of modern ones have flat alignment bars, try one of those.

Thanks for the warning...I do have some razors that will take
these blades...wanted to use them in a Sailor though...oh, well
I guess that is not to be.

Yeah, these were made when most people were using TTOs. Pretty bad business decision though, they were in the selling blades > selling razors business.

While I haven't seen that kind of blade before, if you want to hole punch it, just put a rag over it. There is also the possibility that the blade will split or crack when you try to use a hole punch.

Send them to me. I'll dispose of them in my Superspeeds/Rockets - where they belong!

Or, if you are planning on joining BOSC anyways, could try your hands with a metal file. I'd grab a round fine/thin variant for starters. If you have a vice, I'd recommend doing 3-4 at a time, lest they crack.

I'm not sure what the size of the hole needs to be but a leather hole punch might work.
