get tunes off ipod

does anyone know of an easy way / have you done this:

how does 1 get their tunes off their ipod onto a new computer?
i had to replace my computer and lost my music library;

so whats the easiest way, preferably without downloading any extra software, to get my music off my ipod onto my new computer;

the way i usually do it is:

1. My Computer > Right click ipod > explore

2. Folder Options > View > Check "show hidden files"

3. Copy the folders to your HD and import them through itunes

Sharepod is the way to go. I've used it many times with great success.

Any of these methods will work. Apple has an easy tutorial on how to authorize a new computer as well.
